Steph is a Behaviour Support Practitioner working in Brisbane, Queensland.

Steph started her career in the Behaviour Support field at the beginning of 2022 and has completed a Master of Applied Behaviour Analysis and a Bachelor of Human Services. She is a registered Behaviour Support Practitioner with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission and is working towards becoming a Certified Behaviour Analyst in Australia. Steph has experience delivering services in-home, at mainstream schools and within childcare settings.

Passionate about improving the quality of life for all of her clients, Steph uses an individualised, assent-based approach. She loves to support clients to help them gain the independence, skills and confidence needed to thrive across their key environments. This also includes working collaboratively with families and educators to ensure participants are receiving consistent and effective support based on their individual needs within different environments.

She also loves to teach functional communication to participants so they can advocate for themselves and express their wants and needs effectively. Seeing the excitement from both the client and those around them when the participant learns how to express themselves using functional communication is one of her favourite aspects of being a Behaviour Support Practitioner.

Wesley is a Behaviour Support Practitioner with Kameleon Group, supporting participants and families across the Gold Coast region of Queensland. He brings experience from educational, community and support settings and takes a person-centred and collaborative approach to Behaviour Support.
Wesley has supported children, young people and adults with a range of support needs and presentations, including Autism, ADHD, Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), intellectual and developmental disability, anxiety and other mental health and neurological presentations. He understands that each participant’s circumstances, strengths and support needs are individual and works collaboratively with participants, families and their broader support teams to develop practical strategies that can be applied in everyday life.
Wesley also brings lived experience of supporting a family member with additional needs, contributing to his understanding of the experiences of individuals and families navigating support systems. He values building positive relationships with participants and those around them and takes the time to understand the individual, their environment and the people who are important in their life.
In his work, Wesley focuses on developing practical, sustainable supports that promote participation, independence, quality of life and positive outcomes for participants and their families.
